Celebrating 5 years of Pixel Fridge!

We can’t quite believe we are 5 years old.

That means it’s 5 years since our three founders quit their old lives and put fingers to keyboards to get Pixel Fridge off the ground. Little did they know they’d be here 5 years later, with a team of 10 fantastic Fridgelets (plural name still work in progress), focussing on work that does social or environmental good and having survived a global pandemic!

We thought it might be nice to reflect on the years and share some memories of the last five!

Year 1: Starting out

A new office, founder runs around reservoirs, winning big clients, welcoming James, our first employee, and ice skating at Christmas.

Year 2: Navigating a global pandemic

COVID(!), the Devon team find a home in Propeller, Laura joins us, some socially distanced rambling and Aggie, the first office dog.

Year 3: Growing

Hannah, Alex and Gaelle all join the team, fun celebrations and socials to connect the two offices and lots of work in a busy year (although the pictures don’t show that!).

Year 4: Expanding the portfolio

Our first trip abroad to see our wonderful clients, Kisters, focussing on our positioning and client base, paddle boarding around the coast of Devon and baking like Bake Off stars (almost!).

Year 5: Focussing in on our mission and vision

Becoming B Corp Certified, Charles and Connie joining the team, playing charity netball events, more wonderful rambles and our first branded stash!
